I'm sure you are right a simple 12 bar blues, if I look at the chords used. If in C 2 then 2 bars C, 2 C7. 2 F, 2 Fm6 ((or close), 2 G, 2G7. Then look at Bach prelude 11 book1 - apart from the blue notes (which he did use other places) and the timing exactly the same sequence. Its the rise to the C7 that is so crucial I think. He used it at least 3 times in the 48. Nothing much is new in music.
